🍲 Meal Rotation: Each participant will be asked to volunteer for one day of meal prep to ensure everyone gets time on the build site.
About the Core Foods
“Heal the digestive system to heal the body.”
Our meals during the workshop will be based on the Core Foods Diet. It is a deeply nourishing, plant-based protocol designed to regenerate digestive health and cellular vitality. Rooted in the use of potatoes, squashes, and other root vegetables, this approach is both gentle and potent, providing everything the body needs to rebuild from the inside out.
Potatoes contain a complete amino acid profile and are considered by many cultures a survival food for good reason.
Sweet potatoes are used in Traditional Chinese Medicine to regenerate the large intestine and are highly digestible.
Root vegetables offer dense stores of trace minerals and nutrients missing from most modern diets.
Winter squashes provide anti-inflammatory compounds, polysaccharides for blood sugar regulation, and fiber.
